How other users Extract MV Data to SQL; Zumasys buys Accuterm, jBASE, Disty rights to QM
Zumasys Speaker: Bruce Decker, Senior Solutions Consultant and Pre-Sales Engineer—MultiValue Practice
At least 2 users are going to share their experience with ‘rolling their own’ solution to extract MultiValue data to SQL databases. Rodney C. is System Engineer for Mouser and will tell how they are using IBM’s MQ series to send data ‘over the wall’ to the SQL team. We also hope to hear from new Texmug member Bill C from Houston who has created a OpenQM based abstraction tool.
This will seque nicely into the newsy discussion about all the Zumasys acquisitions. Jill O. with Zumasys will likely be on hand, as will Bruce D. (formerly of Strategy7) another Texmug member who is now with Zumasys. AccuTerm, jBASE, OpenQM – they’re all flying under the Zumasys bannner now – what does it mean? What synergies will this produce? Come hash it out with us.
To celebrate the 8th year of Texmug’s existence, we are holding our door prize drawing among the first EIGHT registrants, once registration is opened. (and if you are getting this, it is open!) Texmug has been at the forefront of the User Group movement ‘rebirth’ and I want to personally thank all our members for their support of this group. I also thank Nathan Rector and all the staff at International Spectrum for supporting our group and the other user groups. Nathan has again generously provided a FULL CONFERENCE PASS to one fortunate Texmug member. If you know you can’t go then please choose the ‘CoolBeans Texmug Member’ ticket, not the ‘Earliest Bird RSVP wth Drawing’ ticket.
All registrants this meeting will receive a discount code for the IS Conference that will give them the Early Bird discount, if they register by the end of March (although the Early Bird deadline has passed).

HUG 2015 will feature a full day of roundtable-style discussions in an intimate setting, off-calendar from Zumapalooza. Enjoy multiple gatherings where you can socialize and share best practices with other Cloud customers and Zumasys engineers; participate in one-on-one sessions with our executive team; and enjoy complimentary accommodations for two nights at The Hills Hotel. The venue is conveniently located minutes away from the Zumasys Irvine Headquarters where we will host a closing BBQ dinner and mixer with our staff.
As an attendee, you will learn about new and exciting platform options:
- Zumasys’ Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) provides you with a tailored disaster recovery plan powered by Zerto.
- Zumasys’ new Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform allows you to reduce your hosting footprint by utilizing shared Citrix infrastructure and eliminates having to worry about Citrix administration and upgrades.
- AppNeta’s SaaS solutions provides companies with detailed performance data to pinpoint tough performance bottlenecks in cloud-delivered application environments.
- Vormetric Encryption Services will keep your company compliant since regulations and privacy laws have required additional measures to protect and manage your data.
- Configure, secure and support the mobile devices that access your company’s applications and data with Citrix XenMobile.
Most importantly, you will have an open forum to get answers to your questions and learn about the strategic developments around cloud computing over the last year and how Zumasys is working to keep you ahead of your competition.
