Ananya Ridenour

Director of Project Management   949 334 0374

Ananya Ridenour, a Southern California native, is the epitome of a world traveler. To say that she has a passion for travel would be an understatement; at her peak she traveled to 44 different countries in a five-year span. She has traveled as a tourist as well as a businessperson, allowing her to experience countries from different perspectives.

Ananya attended University of the Pacific, where she majored in international studies and minored in cultural anthropology. She later received a master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Management at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Out of college, Ananya worked a plethora of jobs, ranging from factory inspector to DJ to comic book store owner to youth program coordinator for an environmental nonprofit. She also ran—albeit unsuccessfully—for city council in Long Beach.

Ananya has always been drawn to the changing nature of technology, which makes it both interesting and challenging. Believe it or not, she likes that the technologies we depend on today are constantly evolving, enabling Ananya to continually learn and adapt to new skills and foundations. Prior to joining Zumasys, Ananya spent five years working as a project manager at an undisclosed tech company, where she united her background in team and program management and interest in technology.

Ananya connected with Zumasys in January of 2013 and was immediately drawn to the company’s culture and focus on employee appreciation. She’s looking forward to volunteering as a company at the Second Harvest food bank this year and working to support the long-term goals of Zumasys’s 1% giving program.

Today, Ananya finds herself travelling a lot less than she used to, but she is just as happy spending time with her husband and three children.
