With years of experience installing, maintaining, and fine tuning servers, firewalls, networking equipment, workstations, and software programs, Toby Bierly has become a valuable addition to the Zumasys Technical Support team. Toby joined Zumasys after nine years managing IT for a medium sized company and more than three years at various managed service providers, where he gained a wide range of IT experience—from server upgrades to network overhauls and Office 365 migrations.
Toby is just as dedicated to his family life as he is to his career. Over the course of three years, Toby and his wife served as foster parents for 13 children, all under the age of 5. They also have two biological children—a daughter and a son.
Toby and his wife had to take a step back from foster parenting when Toby’s wife was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Less than a year later, she was diagnosed with another rare condition called POTS. The two chronic illnesses have become a huge part of Toby’s family and he is active in spreading awareness about both conditions.
