As Zumasys Marketing Manager, Yvette Castro is the force behind our brand. She is responsible for marketing all Zumasys products and services, communications and events—perhaps most notably—Zumapalooza, Zumasys’ customer solution summit which draws more than 500 attendees. Yvette also acts as an extension of Zumasys President Paul Giobbi, assisting with numerous executive functions spanning nearly every aspect of the company.
A Southern California native and one-time aspiring mathematician, Yvette has always had a love for numbers. Prior to joining Zumasys, Yvette worked at Apria Healthcare, working her way to accounts receivables. In 2000, she joined Roth Staffing, one of the nation’s largest privately-held staffing companies, where she enjoyed a nine-year career, culminating in a lead accounting position.
Yvette joined Zumasys in November 2009 as an accounting assistant and soon found herself assuming an increasing number of responsibilities at the intersection of accounting, marketing and corporate culture. She has been a significant contributor to the growth of Zumasys’ values by continually focusing the company on building and strengthening relationships. In her role, Yvette works closely with Zumasys vendors, partners and extended network to communicate our core values through social media and other marketing programs and campaigns. Yvette has also been a driving force in promoting our new software products including jBASE, AccuTerm and MultiValue Dashboard, which are leading the next phase of the company’s revenue growth.
With an eye for detail and her consistent ability to execute, Yvette was selected as the 2012 Employee of the Year, partly for her role as co-chair of Zumapalooza 2012. Since then she has been instrumental in the success of each Zumapalooza, particularly ZumapalooozaTEN 2015, which marked the 10-year anniversary of the event.
