Zumasys Expands Technical Services Management Team

– May 23, 2007 – Zumasys, a leading provider of IT solutions, today announced that it has hired William Hiatt as Director of Infrastructure Engineering and promoted Jennifer McGraw to Director of Operations and Doug Cacioppo to Director of Client Solutions. The changes will provide greater focus on the company’s expanded technical team, Priority Contract Customers (PCCs) and growing Hosting initiative which includes TheOnDemandOffice.com.

William Hiatt joins Zumasys as Director of Infrastructure Engineering and is responsible for project management, technical escalation and engineering of storage and virtualization solutions for Zumasys customers. Prior to joining the company, Hiatt served as National Director, IT Architecture at Advantage Sales & Marketing, a $950M food products and consumer packaged goods company based in Irvine, CA. Hiatt brings a deep understanding and knowledge of enterprise systems implementations, with an emphasis on storage and security solutions. Hiatt holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Chapman University and maintains multiple certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Personnel (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Hiatt is a member of ISC^2 and SANS, System Administration, Networking & Security Institute. He has been nominated as a finalist on both CIO Magazine’s Ones to Watch and Computerworld’s Honors Program.

Jennifer McGraw joined Zumasys in June of 2005 as Operations Manager and has been responsible for Human Resources, Operations and various aspects of financial planning and analysis. Ms. McGraw is being promoted to Director of Operations and will now be responsible for day-to-day management of Zumasys’ 15-person technical team with direct responsibility for customer support, professional services and scheduling. Prior to joining Zumasys, Ms. McGraw served as Human Resources Manager for Quality Imaging Products, a 150-employee $15 million manufacturer of toner and inkjet cartridges. Ms. McGraw holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honors in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Doug Cacioppo came to Zumasys in September of 2004 as a Senior Systems Engineer and was quickly moved into the role of Director of IT Services where he managed the Zumasys technical team for nearly two years. Cacioppo is being promoted to the role of Director of Client Solutions where he will be responsible for Zumasys’ growing hosting initiative including TheOnDemandOffice.com. Cacioppo will also be responsible for designing infrastructure solutions for Zumasys’ customers, he will oversee the Priority Customer Contract program and he will provide technical escalation. Cacioppo holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management Information Systems from California State University at Long Beach. He maintains several certifications including Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA), Certified Double-Take Professional (CDP), MCP Exchange 2003 and HP Certified Professional in HP Storage Solutions.
