Zumasys Selected by Wyse to Join Premier Partner Network Integrator to Offer New $299 Blazer-Based Thin Client

– Aug 19, 2005 – Zumasys, a National IT Integrator, today announced it has been selected to join Wyse Technology’s New Partner Network as a Premier Partner. As part of this program, Zumasys will work with Wyse to deliver thin client solutions that remedy the desktop dilemmas faced by CIOs today – security, manageability, reliability and cost.

As a Wyse Premier Partner, Zumasys will have access to the full line of Wyse products including Winterm™ thin clients and Wyse™ Rapport® device management software, as well as access to sales and support resources, business development, co-marketing and training opportunities.

Zumasys plans to promote Wyse’s new, efficient Blazer thin client which is based on Free BSD. The Wyse Winterm 1200LE requires a server to operate and as such does not include the layered features such as terminal emulation or local Internet browsing which typically add overhead. Its optimized footprint allows the Wyse Winterm 1200LE to achieve 5 second reboots and exceptional performance when connecting to Citrix Presentation Server and Microsoft Terminal Server environments. The Winterm 1200LE is available for immediate shipment. Prices start at $299.
