Zumasys Named to Inc. Magazine’s List of the 5,000 Fastest
Growing Private Companies in America for Second Straight Year

Irvine, California – August 21, 2008 – Zumasys announced today that it earned a position on the Inc. 5,000 List for the second year in a row. The Inc. 5,000 List recognizes America’s fastest growing privately-held companies and can be viewed at www.inc.com/inc5000. Zumasys’ growth of 95% over the past four years qualified the company for placement on the nationally recognized list. Inc Magazine expanded it’s annual list recognized 500 companies to include 5,000 dynamic businesses that are leading the way in job creation and economic growth.
“The economy has not slowed the growth of these companies that range across industries from construction and manufacturing to IT services and business services, for a combined revenues of $185.4 billion and 334 percent growth,” said Inc. 5,000 Project Manager Jim Melloan.
Slightly fewer than half of the companies on this year's list are repeaters from last year, which makes this a great feat for Zumasys. In what is perhaps a reflection of the sluggish economy, the total revenue on this year's list is less than last year's: $185.4 billion compared to $194.5 billion for the 2007 companies. But average three-year growth on the 2008 list is considerably higher: 334 percent compared to 295 percent for the 2007 list.
