• Resource Pool Pricing – Pay a set price for a pool of memory, CPU and disk resources with the ability to spin up as many virtual machines as is required

• Self Provisioning – Deploy virtual machines and operating system images with the click of a button

• Self-Service Portal – Gain access to virtual infrastructure through a user-friendly Web portal

• VMware vCloud API & vCloud Connector – Transfer virtual machines between public, private, and hybrid Clouds using the open virtualization format (OVF). This allows customers to keep some applications on-site, some in a public Cloud and some on the Zumasys platform with portability between locations. Using vCloud Connector, customers now have a single pane of glass, the familiar vSphere Client, to monitor and manage any of their VMware-based clouds.

• Secure Multi-Tenanted Model – Zumasys uses the Secure Multi-Tenancy model co-developed by NetApp, Cisco, and VMware as the basis for infrastructure design. Our model leverages technologies from each vendor to create an isolated and secure computing environment. Our NetApp storage array is sliced into Virtual Filer Units (vFilers) to create independent virtual arrays. Further up the infrastructure stack each customer is assigned Virtual Networks, both privately and publicly, by use of VLANs connected via private firewalls.

• Rental Licensing – When it comes to software licensing for Microsoft, Citrix and others, you have the option to bring over your existing licenses or utilize rental licensing from Zumasys. Rental licensing is only available for hosted customers and keeps these purchases off your balance sheet. Billed as a monthly expenses, rental licensing provides a predictable monthly per-user fee model that can grow with your business. Additionally with rental licensing you are always entitled to the newest releases of software as they come out. In the end, you chose–rental or purchased licenses.
