October 26th – Zumasys announced this evening that Luke Bucklin, formerly the Director of Sales for Zumasys, lost contact with ground control shortly after taking off from Jackson Hole Airport yesterday.
Luke was piloting his Mooney 2001 aircraft when radar contact was lost around 2pm on Monday, October 25th. Weather has hindered the search which is ongoing at this time. Aboard the flight are Luke Bucklin, and sons Nick Bucklin (14 years old), Nate Bucklin (14), and Noah Bucklin (12).
“Luke is a vibrant, intelligent businessperson; a wonderful father and husband; and a dear, personal friend to many of us,” says Paul Giobbi, President of Zumasys. “We are devastated by this new and we pray for a positive outcome.”
Mike Derheim, CFO of Sierra Bravo added, “We can’t have too many people pulling for Luke and supporting his family and friends.”
