AccuTerm® Cloud (AccuTerm Internet Edition) no longer works with Chrome.
As of April 14, 2015, Google has blocked NPAPI plugins in Chrome. Google announced their intention several months ago, and have now done it (Chrome version 42.0.2311.90).
There is a temporary workaround, until September 2015, which can be used to un-block NPAPI plugins (which includes AccuTerm Cloud, Microsoft Silverlight, Citrix Receiver for Web, etc.) But Google has promised to completely remove support for these plugins in September, so this is just a temporary workaround.
We are investigating alternative solutions to using AccuTerm Cloud with Chrome, but at this time, the new plugin APIs that Google has developed will not work with the underlying AccuTerm code base.
Until September, you can manually enable NPAPI Plugins in Chrome by following these simple steps::
• While in Chrome, open this URL: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi • Enable this: Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows • Restart Browser (click the "Relaunch Now" button at the bottom of the page) |
