Zumasys, a leading provider of cloud computing solutions for business-critical ERP systems and custom applications, announced today it was named part of an exclusive group of Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers to join the Shared Computer Activation Program (SCA). The SCA Program will give Zumasys Cloud tenants the ability to deploy Office 365 ProPlus and E3 within their cloud environment. The SCA Program combined with the Cloud Solution Provider program enables Zumasys to resell and host Office 365 and Azure Services.
With the release of SCA, Zumasys can now simplify licensing and reduce costs by allowing users to link Office 365 ProPlus subscriptions to multiple machines. This gives customers the ability to use Office 365 applications and capabilities both on-premises and in their hosted environments.
“We are very thankful to the Microsoft team for allowing us to be a part of this select SCA program,” says Corey Luckow, VP of Strategic Development at Zumasys. “This is a huge win for Zumasys in 2016. Our cloud tenants can finally enjoy the value, features, and flexibility of Office 365 while running their critical applications on the Zumasys Cloud.”
Before SCA, Zumasys was not able to fully embrace Office 365 on its platform, given the added licensing fees and complex restrictions to run Office 365 in a multi-tenanted environment. Unified licensing under one Office 365 ProPlus subscription enables customers to leverage the full suite of Office 365 products across their IT infrastructure.
“With SCA, we are finally able to take full advantage of this product, which customers around the world, both in personal and business environments, have been leveraging for nearly three years,” says Luckow. “It’s a game-changer for us in terms of what we can offer to our clients.”
“Office 365 customers who run their critical applications on the Zumasys Cloud are now able to experience an integrated user experience. The very strong demand and rapid solution adoption we are already seeing speaks volumes to the value being realized by our joint customers,” says John Schmelzeis, Sr. Channel Executive at Microsoft.
Zumasys’ newly enabled Office 365 offerings combined with its recently obtained Microsoft Surface reseller license completes its portfolio of offerings as an end-to-end corporate IT solutions provider. By offering Surface machines as part of a complete solution, Zumasys can provide top-to-bottom services to meet today’s “cloud-first, mobile-first” business model.
Surface paired with Office 365 enables customers to achieve seamless mobility. Surface allows customers to bring the Microsoft Office suite and the same application ran on a full-featured PC, to a corporate friendly mobile device.
“Zumasys has the cloud infrastructure, application delivery, and now the mobile device to provide an end-to-end solution for our customers,” says Luckow. “Office 365 and Surface are the last pieces of the puzzle for our next-generation business solution.”
