The Rover Pay system paid for itself very quickly. It wasn’t expensive at all. Even with all of the costs included, and looking at the benefits we have experienced, I would say it paid for itself within two months. I was loving it within the first month. I mean, it was hands down, worth whatever we spent on it.

When leveraging the advanced features of jBASE and Dynamic Objects for one of our key projects, we knew that we needed a different skill set. We needed a resource that was fluent in jBASE Basic as well as RESTful web services. We reached out to Zumasys and contacted their professional services for help. They assigned a resource to our account and that has proven to be extremely valuable. We utilized this resource for the length of the project and then re-engaged them for a subsequent project. The speed at which RESTful web services can be created and deployed on jBASE is amazing, and the jBASE versions work faster than our other RESTful web services built on Golang and PostgreSQL. This has been a winning combination and we plan to keep the winning streak going.
Many organizations (like ours) have struggled bringing an enhanced user experience to our “Green screen” Pick applications. Rover was designed to interface to Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) as well as most other available productivity tools, such as Adobe (pdf) and Open Office products. For example, any report or data file can be exported to Excel or Word, based upon your security rights.

If you have any existing system, whether is be a simple, off-the-shelf system, software from one of those large monolithic companies or even just spreadsheets, there is always data you are not going to want to have to reenter, or lose. One of the first phases of an implementation is to convert the required data so we can train your employees on their data. You can bring over all the data you wish, from customers, vendors and parts, to transaction files such as sales orders, purchase orders, etc.
Our standard implementation time is between 90 and 120 days from the signing of the contract. As with new cars, your mileage may vary. It’s possible to have it be much shorter, and it’s also possible to stretch it out over a longer period of time. Our implementation team will work with you to determine a schedule that meets your needs. If it takes longer than 120 days, you’ll find it’s not us you’re waiting for.
