Sales Leader Brings 18 Years of Experience Driving Growth to New Role
IRVINE, CA—March 7, 2013 – Zumasys, a leading provider of cloud computing and infrastructure solutions to small-and-medium sized businesses, announced today that Karen Hahn has joined the company as Director of Sales. Hahn brings with her more than 18 years of extensive experience in technology sales and a rich background with NetApp, Zumasys’ top vendor partner.
Prior to joining Zumasys, Hahn spent 14 years at Irvine-based Stack Computer, Inc., in a variety of roles including Director of Sales and Operations. Stack was sold to Agilysys, Inc. for $28M in cash in 2007 and Hahn continued at the company for 3 more years. After leaving Agilysys, Inc. in 2010, Hahn moved to Avnet, Inc., a leading distributor of IT solutions, and took the position of Account Development Manager. There she began her relationship with Zumasys as a representative of the NetApp product line.

In 1994, Hahn joined Stack Computer as a founding member and principal. There she began building and architecting technology solutions as a pre sales engineer before transitioning into what would be a long career in sales and management. Throughout Hahn’s career, she focused on strategic storage, networking, and server solutions, while leading Sales Operations to maintain profitability in over $60M sales annually at their peak.
At Avnet Technology Solutions, Hahn effectively managed and developed the reseller channels in the Southern California region with responsibility for over $70M in NetApp sales. There she was responsible for the sales and technical teams’ educational readiness and program compliance, partner business plan development, marketing plans and business development, and operational readiness. She worked closely with both Avnet and NetApp executive teams to foster successful partnerships.
